A keen eye for the human in technology

Interactive, Australia’s leading technology solutions provider, has appointed Dan Cox as the organisation’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Australia and New Zealand.

Dan will be responsible for deepening the managed service provider’s end-to-end IT services across Interactive’s three core capabilities: cloud, cyber and systems. He’ll continue to build a robust team that brings the best technology service to a wide range of organisations, keeping Interactive’s technology offering ahead of the curve, and maintaining a deliberately strong local presence in Australia.

With almost twenty years of technology experience, Dan has managed the relationship between people and technology across various roles in Europe, US and Australia, before joining Interactive in 2020 as General Manager, Cloud and later General Manager, Digital Transformation.

Alongside this experience, Dan brings a new generation of leadership and innovative thinking to this role and his keen eye for the human in technology makes him a strong fit to take the reins as CTO.

“I’ve always believed that people lie at the heart of every technology-driven endeavour, it’s about working with people and supporting them to be their best for our customers,” said Dan.

“With markets moving to both decentralise and consolidate their technology providers, it’s an interesting time to be in the industry. While we’re in the technology business, at the end of the day it’s all about people, and that’s what gets me excited to take on this role.”

Brendan Fleiter, Executive Chairman, believes Dan’s approach is key to unlocking Interactive’s potential as a trusted technology partner.

Interactive is deliberate about where we are going tomorrow, not just where we are today, said Brendan.

“Dan recognises the importance of people in technology, and he embodies Interactive’s maxim of keeping technology human – he’s a perfect fit.”

Dan will lead Interactive’s development of new service offerings and maturing its end-to-end IT managed services, tailoring technology solutions for customers and partners to create long-term relationships.

The contemporary CTO will lead Interactive into a new era of success, where the fusion of technology and humanity will create unparalleled customer service.
