Three exceptional finalists
It’s cause for celebration when our people are put forward for an award that recognises their talent and hard work. We’re incredibly proud to announce that three of our people are finalists in this year’s ARN Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA).
These awards celebrate the achievements of female talent in the technology industry and recognise their significant contributions to their respective organisations.
At Interactive, we foster a culture that enables our employees to grow their careers in a meaningful way. The incredible female representation at Interactive speaks volumes to this.
It’s great to see our people being recognised for doing exceptional work. Each of our nominees has an undeniable impact on our organisation and our customers, and we are every bit stronger for it.
Let’s meet our finalists.
SHINING STAR
Donna, a nominee for the Shining Star Award, has been working with us for fourteen years. She is an accomplished account executive who has achieved four promotions in four years.
Donna is a role model and a dependable mentor for aspiring leaders. With extensive product knowledge, Donna knows the ins and outs of everything IT. Her commitment to excellent customer service makes her an indispensable member of the team.
Her talents aren’t limited to helping customers – she also nurtures a cooperative work atmosphere and empowers her colleagues to progress in their careers.
But for Donna, ICT has always been about the people.
“I feel extremely lucky to be part of such a great organisation for the past 14 years, working with the best people in the industry. The most fulfilling part of my job is helping my customers create real value for their organisation.” Donna said.
ACHIEVEMENT
Helen has been nominated for her ongoing contribution to the industry.
With her outstanding achievements and unwavering commitment, she has proven to be a skilled and devoted leader who inspires and empowers those in her circle. Over the course of her 30-year career, she has amassed numerous accolades and devoted considerable effort to mentor and uplift young ICT professionals, cementing her status as a highly regarded industry thought leader.
Helen has been instrumental in developing and deploying solutions that require the coordination of complex moving pieces. Her deep understanding of technology means that Helen is able to provide keen insights for her clients that cut right to the heart of their problems – and then solve them.
Well versed in the industry, Helen understands the hurdles many women face in their careers in the ICT industry. To address this issue, she introduced a new program at Interactive that aims to attract and support women who are mid-career to enter into the industry. The program offers a three-month paid cadetship within our cloud team.
“It’s the most fulfilling work I’ve done. The most rewarding aspect of my job is seeing others grow and achieve great things in their careers. It’s the best part of my day,” Helen said.
TECHNICAL
Ritu has been nominated for her exceptional technical expertise in driving innovation and growth. A highly skilled and experienced ICT professional with extensive technical expertise in various technologies, Ritu is the lead Project Engineer and SME for Interactive’s key customer accounts.
Her expertise has led to the development of several innovative solutions and technologies, delivering immeasurable impact to Interactive’s customers.
“I love the way my role allows me to fuse interpersonal skills with technical knowledge. I can work with our partners to solve problems while also learning new things,” Ritu said.
With a passion for learning, outstanding leadership abilities and a flair for innovation in her technical work, Ritu aims to pursue her next role as Technical Architect with our Digital Transformation Services team.
