Have you ever wondered what a breach is really like from a CISO’s perspective?
Fred Thiele, CISO at Interactive, joins host Kerry Matre to discuss managing data breaches from his personal experiences.
Fred dives into his 25 years of cyber security experience and draws out what the long tail of a breach really looks like. He gets into data, insurance, crisis communications and the many stakeholders involved, the importance of having the board on board and more. He also shares what surprises he’s encountered along the way!
“Your plan is only as good as your first encounter. Every situation is going to be different, so at least if you have your plan then you can tweak it as the breach plays out”, Fred Thiele, CISO, Interactive.
