Recognising excellence across the tech industry

We are thrilled to announce that five of our outstanding people are finalists in this year’s ARN Women in ICT Awards (WIICTA).

After receiving 325 nominations from more than 120 organisations nationwide, ARN WIICTA will house the largest celebration of female excellence within the tech channel across Australia this year.

“A big congratulations to each of our finalists. We are so proud to have such exceptional female representation at Interactive. Their skills, expertise and attitude are equal to none, and make them powerful role models for Interactive, and our industry”- Merylee Crockett, Chief People Officer

Our finalists:

The Rising Star award recognises a standout candidate rising through the ranks within the ICT industry, acknowledging significant advancement during the early stages of her technology career. This individual is growing in stature and importance through demonstrating outstanding business acumen, deep market expertise and high levels of professional integrity.

Hayley Jope, our rising star finalist progressed from Receptionist to Customer Success Manager – Team Leader in seven years. She epitomises customer advocacy and has had numerous successes over the years, including the recent enablement of more than 3,500 employees from 12 Australian-based financial institutions to continue operating throughout COVID-19 in our business continuity suites.

Technical

This award recognises excellence in the form of technical and engineering expertise, honouring deep domain knowledge in relation to technology products, solutions and services. This candidate has provided business value through specialised skills and competence, spanning technical, pre-sales and support roles.

With an armoury of multi-platform domain expertise, 15+ years of experience and two start-ups, Nici Sindhav, our ‘quiet achiever’, now leads Interactive’s automation capability and the development of our ‘infrastructure as code’ capability for our public cloud customers. After four promotions across a range of technical and leadership roles, Nici is now Interactive’s Technical Specialist – AWS.

Achievement

This award recognises a standout candidate who has delivered an unrivalled contribution to the ICT industry, evident through outstanding professional and personal achievements. They will have earned a reputation as an esteemed thought leader following a distinguished career as both a business leader and role model for aspiring executives. This award is open to candidates with 21 years or more experience within the ICT industry.

This individual is unrivalled at converting embryonic ideas into viable working solutions through a unique thought process designed to continually push the envelope.

Five years ago, Danni pivoted from marketing to a career in IT. Upon joining Interactive’s Technology division as a Business Analyst, Danni demonstrated that Innovation isn’t only the domain of engineers. She quickly bridged the gap between our end-users and technical teams before Interactive embarked on one of the more ambitious, integrated Microsoft Dynamics Solutions in the Australian market.

Open to all roles and responsibilities, this individual has made an immediate and positive impact on the business through providing a fresh perspective and high levels of professionalism.

Tina Gray is the star graduate that every company dreams of having; maximising her apprenticeship to build a promising cyber career. After concluding her studies, Tina heard about Interactive’s Graduate program and applied. Her natural curiosity, ability to think on her feet, and commitment to providing exceptional customer experience meant that she was a natural fit. In just six months, Tina has gone from having limited technical experience within the field to becoming a key member of the team, working alongside Cyber engineers to complete server rollouts, learning triage alerts and training others.
