Infrastructure Support Technician

Role:
We’re excited to be looking for our newest team member to join the Infrastructure Support Team. This position will suit someone with some solid general IT experience across network support. We are looking for a guru to provide a high level of service to our customers supporting a mixture of preventative measures as well as corrective actions.
Note that only candidates who are either already familiar with 24/7 support services, or who have a strong desire and reasons to work on a rotating day/night roster, should please apply.
Some of the key things you’ll do:
- Direct customer relationship management
- Fault logging and ticket management with giving you exposure to a range of different technical faults which could include VMware, Linux, networks and Cisco
- Supporting a range of different clients within Public and Private Cloud
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Visio
- Strong understanding of server administration in Linux, Unix, Windows 200x, and Active Directory
- Expert Networking Knowledge
- Solid knowledge of virtualisation (VMware)
- Microsoft Server, Cisco and ITIL certification (desirable)
