Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – PaaS and SaaS

About the Role:

We are currently searching for an experienced IT Platform as a Service Engineer to join our team. The role will provide the right candidate a challenging mix of Project and BAU Infrastructure operations and will play an important role in continuing to grow our Cloud operations.
You will be joining a highly skilled, technical high performing team operating within Australia.
  
Some of the key things you’ll do

• Ensuring continued operations of Data Centre and Cloud environments.
• Providing Level 3 escalated support to the broader IT Team.
• Administer MS Azure based IaaS / PaaS environments.
• Administration of MS Office 365 environment and other cloud platforms.
• Participate in Data Centre to Cloud migration activities.
• Provide remote and, when required, onsite support to locations throughout operating regions.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all IT Policies, Operating Standards and Procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Cloud focused, experience in migration programs, and Operational Practices. You need to be comfortable both in the Data Centre and in the Cloud.
• Experience with VMWare to Azure would be advantageous.
• Minimum 5 Years’ demonstrable experience in Azure with at least 7 Years’ experience in traditional Data Centre / On Premise environment administration.
• Experience supporting with a detailed and demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems including server roles and features, M365, SSO, MS Exchange and related technologies;
• Experience with PowerShell and other orchestration, automation, or scripting languages/tools.
• At least 5 Years’ experience in Enterprise grade networking.
• Demonstrable strong PowerShell and scripting experience. Exposure to automation or Infrastructure as Code well regarded.
• Be security minded. Experience in deploying, administering, and maintaining Enterprise grade security solutions.
• Ability to operate with minimal direction, prioritise competing work requirements and effectively manage time. Excellent team player and communicator.
• Ability to exercise initiative, problem solve and manage a multiplicity of issues simultaneously
• Enjoy working across multiple technologies with an ability for occasional travel.
• Demonstrate a desire to develop and evolve skillsets.
