The Bank of Queensland (BOQ) has chosen IT services company, Interactive to provide a proactive workplace recovery solution to prevent service interruptions to its customers and offer critical staff a stand-by workplace in the event of BOQ’s offices being inaccessible.

Interactive’s workplace recovery solution offers BOQ access to a facility that would mirror its standard operating environment (SOE) allowing staff to operate from the Interactive site if an incident occurred.

New Brisbane Data Centre Eases Shortage

A chronic shortage of data centre space is putting corporate Australia on red alert.

Australian systems availability company, Interactive, has proactively addressed the shortage by recently opening a new eight million dollar state-of-the art data centre and recovery facility 15 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, in the heart of the Eight Mile Plains Technology Park. The 750 square metre data centre offers customers the highest level of site availability and security.

Interactive to be First IT Company in the World
to Run 100% Green Energy.

Interactive Pty Ltd, today announced that from 1st November 2008 it will be the first IT company in the world to provide 100% Green (renewable) power to run its entire business. After concluding contractual negotiations with AGL, Interactive will provide only 100% Green power to run all services, operations, and data centre facilities for it’s more than 1100 customers across Australia.
